About Me

My name is Krish Kalla, and I am a Senior (Grade 12) at Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, NH. Over the past four years, I've held a key leadership roles on my robotics team, serving as team captain and programming lead in my first two years, and continuing as programming lead for the following two. In this role, I focused on developing the robot’s autonomous systems while collaborating with a talented group of peers to design, build, and program robots for the FIRST Tech Challenge. Our teamwork and dedication led us to the State Championship in all four consecutive years. Last year, we achieved the distinction of “Finalist Alliance” at the state level, qualifying us to attend any FTC Premier Event worldwide. This year (2025–2026), we built on that success by securing 2nd in the New Hampshire State Championship qualification matches on February 21, 2026, once again earning qualification for global FTC Premier Events. At the New England Premier Event (April 17–18, 2026), we won the Martin Division and went on to become overall event champions.

In addition, I was honored to be named a Dean’s List Semifinalist for two consecutive years (2023 and 2024), recognizing my leadership, initiative, and contributions to the robotics program.

Robotics has grown from a hobby into a profound passion for me. The field represents a limitless realm of innovation and creativity, fueling my desire to share this enthusiasm with others. I’m deeply committed to raising awareness about robotics and inspiring students around the world to engage with technology and engineering. By promoting robotics and related competitions, I hope to spark curiosity and excitement in young minds, encouraging them to explore the boundless possibilities of STEM.

As I continue my journey in robotics, I am dedicated to serving as both an advocate and a mentor for those who share my enthusiasm. It is my goal to contribute meaningfully to the global robotics community and play a role in shaping the future of STEM education.
